The Band Camino electrified the stage at The Fillmore, Silver Spring, MD

The Band Camino brought in a completely sold out crowd at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD on Tuesday night. Every inch of The Fillmore was filled with exciting fans that were ready to rock out with the Memphis boys in Maryland. They were joined by up and comer, Hastings and indie fan-favorite, flor.

Opening up the night was Hastings. Hastings is a rising Nashville-based singer songwriter and producer who has been taken under the wing of Team Camino and his stage presence and electric songs prove he his here to stay. He released his self-titled EP last December with tracks like “Chapstick” and “Blank Me.” He also was a co-writer on The Band Camino’s fave song “Roses.” The entire set Hastings held the crowd for his entire set and while shooting in the photo pit, I heard remarks from the barricade such as “He’s giving Harry Styles” and “I can’t wait to listen to this on the whole way home.” He has such likeability and is set for success.

Rolling right into flor, with an ELECTRIC set that was exactly what you would expect from such an electric band. They are coming up to the release of their newest album called “Future Shine” on Fueled By Ramen which you can pre-order and pre-save here. We’ve caught a glimpse of the album through songs such as “Skate” which we heard and the crowd went OFF when they played it, rightfully so. This album is a highly anticipated record and after the successes of “ley lines” this one is sure to please.

Last but of course, not least, my favorite band and soon to be yours The Band Camino. This wasn’t my first rodeo with the Memphis boys. I saw them in an 800 cap venue in Orlando in 2019 and again in Nashville in August 2021 at the legendary Ryman, sold out with over 2,300 seats filled to the BRIM. Each show has been a spectacular explosion of sound and music. These boys know how to put on a damn show. Though, as a long time fan I definitely miss the “banana phone” opening but they didn’t miss a beat.

This band has taken over the world by storm with their debut full-length self-titled record that dropped in September and their reach as been growing exponentially and their live shows prove that it is very much well deserved. Their energy is unmatched on stage and shows that no matter the size of the venue they will get you moving and grooving from barricade to balcony.
